What is Giardia?
Giardia is an intestinal parasite that can cause diarrhea, vomiting, upset stomach, fever, bloating and related

The doses listed in the chart above are to be used as a treatment dose, during active Giardia infestation. An average
treatment will last 3 - 4 weeks. However, once your animal has been exposed to Giardia and has experienced an
active infestation, the likelihood of reinfestation is dramatically increased (by about 10 times!). Therefore, we
recommend that any previously exposed animal be kept on a maintenance dose indefinately. A maintenance dose is a
single dose as listed above per body weight, however it is only dosed two - three days per week, one time per day.
